• Revision or recontextualization of plays.

• Monitors the progress and concerns of the group

Bio note

Gayle Beraquit is a graduating student under the Arts and Design track of St. Scholastica’s Academy Marikina. She has been part of various productions and activities under ADYA Productions such as Danas-Dula 2021: Pagsugilon as a dramaturg and playwright of the segment A Day In Maya’s Life. She was a stage manager for the virtual adaptation of Njel De Mesa’s Barya Lang Po Sa Umaga, and a META- Content Writing staff. Recently, she has participated as an assistant director for Ignition, the opening event for the Arts Month 2022 celebration and a lyricist for Alon, ADYA’s first musical album. Currently, she is the dramaturg and stage manager for Tagu-Taguan 2022, which features a twinbill production of Rolin Cadallo Obina’s Mga Bata sa Selda 43 and Soc Delos Reyes’ Ang Mga Naiwan.

Actor

• Memorize the script

• Does the script analysis and character analysis of her role “Iya”.

• Does the character sketch for her character.

• In charge of memorizing the blockings stated by the director and finding the character’s its motivation.

• Actively participate on rehearsals. 

 

Assistant Stage Manager

• Helping the production stage manager in making the production notes and send it to the team through email.

• Lead the warm ups for AMN actors before their rehearsals and shooting.

• Helping in taking blocking notations during AMN’s blocking rehearsals.

• Helping in spiking the stage. 

• Taking note of the time/schedule during on site rehearsals.

Bio note

Francheska May Alberto is a graduating student in St. Scholastica’s Academy of Marikina under the Arts and Design Track. For the past years in being an Arts and Design Track student, she has been actively participating in events and productions under ADYA Productions. In the school year of 2020 to 2021, She played the role of AJ in “Maaga Pa Para Managinip” under Danas-Dula 2021: Pagsugilon. She was one of the Assistant Stage Managers and the Host of Arts Month 2021 Closing Ceremony. In the school year 2021 to 2022, she is the Production Stage Manager for Arts Month 2022, played Iya in the play “Mga Bata sa Selda 43” by Sir Rolin Cadalli Obina and was also the Assistant Stage Manager in “Tagu-Taguan”.

• Led the warm-up for actors of MBS43 when the SM was addressing other tasks

• Contributed to production notes for the held meetings

• Occasionally took pictures for documentations especially when the Publicity Head was addressing different agendas/concerns.

• Frequently checks the time and informs the SM, actors, and/or director.

Bio note

Samantha "Sam" Silva is a grade 12 Arts and Design Track student in St. Scholastica's Academy Marikina. Back when she was in junior high school, she was part of Sining at Tanghalang Pilipino club. Sam has been part of ADYA's previous events and productions. In Danas-Dula 2021: Pagsugilon, she played the role of Maya in Gayle Beraquit's A Day in Maya's Life. She was also an actor for the grade 11 virtual production of Njel De Mesa's Barya Lang Po sa Umaga playing the role of A.E. or Account Executive. Held last February 2022, Sam was one of the people behind ADYA's celebration of the 31st National Arts Month. In the opening ceremony, she was as assistant stage manager and also the host of the said event. For their final project in the theatre arts division in which they mounted a twinbill production, Sam was an assistant stage manager and an actor. She played the role of Analyn Ortega in Soc Delos Reyes' Ang Mga Naiwan.

Director of Photography

• Creating storyboards for both plays

• Assists director in capturing the look and feel of the play through camera

• Works behind the camera adjusting the framing, camera angle, and camera movement

 

Technical Staff

• Assists the technical designer with editing videos to be included in the final production

• Assists in decisions regarding sound 

• Plotting sound cues

Bio note

Mika Robles is a graduating student under St. Scholastica’s Academy of Marikina’s Arts and Design Track. They have taken part in ADYA Productions META- as an associate director for META- Unfolds and an assistant stage manager for Njel De Mesa’s Barya Lang Po Sa Umaga. They also participated in ADYA Productions first musical album, “Alon” as an assistant musical director. Currently, they are the director of photography and technical staff for the filmed stage productions under Tagu-Taguan 2022.

Production designer

• In charge of creating the ground plan for the set

• Assigned in making the set design including which props to use

• Creates the color palette that will be used for the set design 

• In charge of listing down all the necessary materials that will be used for the set design

 

 Technical designer

• In charge of editing all the necessary videos that will be posted in ADYA’s social media accounts, including the final production video

• Assigned in conceptualizing all the additional edits and visual to make the entire video stand out

• In charge of the sound design during the filming process

• In charge of premiering the final video on the designated show dates.

Layout artist

• Edits, designs and conceptualizes the contents for the publicity materials.

Bio note

Talisha Kate Castro is a grade 12 student from the SSAM Arts and design track. She has been part of various events and productions hosted by ADYA productions. Some of these are the yearly Arts month festival celebrated every February wherein she was the technical designer for the past 2 years, she was the assistant musical director for the first ever song album of ADYA Productions entitled “Alon”, and recently, she participated in the Tagu-taguan 2022 that features a twinbill production of Mga Bata sa Selda 43 by Rolin Migyuel Cadallo Obina and Ang Mga Naiwan by Soc Delos Reyes for her final project as a graduating student. She was the production and technical designer and layout artist for this production.

Bio note

Genalyn Suelto is a student of the Arts & Design Track in St. Scholastica’s Academy of Marikina. She took the Arts and Design track to pursue her dream of becoming a theatre actress and to explore her skills on traditional arts. Prior to Senior High School, she was a part of the varsity team in volleyball. Now in senior high school, she was a part of Danas-Dula 2021: Pagsugilon as an actor portraying 15 different characters. She also hosted a talk entitled “Linang: Merienda Discussions on Graphic Design” during the Arts Month 2021. She was an actor of META-Creates for the Grade 11 virtual adaptation of Njel De Mesa’s “Barya Lang Po Sa Umaga” and a moderator for META-Talks.  This academic year, she is the project manager in Fervor Artistic Workshops of SSAM SHS Arts Month 2022 entitled Odyssey: Blazing and Artistic Trail. Genalyn also hosted the closing ceremony of the arts month 2022 and St. Scholastica’s Paskuhan Concert: Lampara Sinag ng Pagasa. For her final project in the theatre arts division, she participated as an actor and costume & make-up stylist in their twin bill production entitled "Tagu-Taguan", wherein she was cast as one of the characters in one of the plays. She played Fel in Rolin Cadallo Obina’s theatrical piece, "Ang Mga Bata sa Selda 43".

Bio note

Angela Dawn Gonzales, a grade 11 student from the Arts and Design Track of St. Scholastica's Academy Marikina, has recently been part of a month-long activity of ADYA Productions to celebrate the 30th National Arts Month last 2021, with the theme "Emansipasyon: Tungo sa Sining na Mapagpalaya." She was one of the Assistant Stage Managers for the “event’s” opening ceremony, wherein she explored and ventured into the world of Stage Management. She also became an actor in Danas-Dula 2021: Pagsugilon, wherein she experienced performing virtually for the first time. She was once again an actor in their production mounted by the Grade 11 Arts and Design Track entitled, Kafatiran by Dingdong Novenario. This year, in their final creative project, they have mounted a twin bill production, "Tagu-Taguan" wherein she became an actor in the play, 'Mga Bata sa Sela 43' by Rolin Cadalli Obina, and at the same time, she also became the publicity head and social media manager in the production.

Costume Design Layout and Makeup/Hair Stylist

• Incharge of the costume ideas. Studies on fabrics, color theories, makeup styles, and hair styling techniques that would best fit each character.

• Incharge of studying actors looks to find which method of makeup will be used for the character of the actor. 

• Communicates and Layouts with actors to find the best costume and makeup looks amongst different choices for their character.  

• [Onsite] Prepares actor's hair and makeup before the start of the time of warm-ups.

• [Onsite] Incharge of makeup retouches and handling wardrobe malfunctions during rehearsals and filmings.

• Incharge of researching about the character. The background of the character, its troubles, its past experiences in life, its attitude and its thinking.

• [Onsite] Collaborate with directors and dramaturgs regarding the character and its lines and actions. 

• Memorizing and understanding the lines. Find a purpose to each phrase the character is telling and give reasonable movements and facial expressions to it.

Bio note

Yvette Althea De Dios is currently a 12th-grade Arts and Design student of St. Scholastica's Academy Marikina. She's been part of different productions from junior high school to senior high school. Such as "Ang Pulang Pulseras", where she was part of the cast, "A Day in Maya's Life", where she was an assistant stage manager, and "Kafatiran", where she performed as one of the characters. This academic year, she participated as an actor in their twin bill production entitled "Tagu-Taguan", wherein she was cast as one of the characters in one of the plays. She played Estrella Villanueva in Soc Delos Reyes' theatrical piece, " Ang Mga Naiwan".

Bio note

Domenique, or otherwise known as Dom, is a student of St. Scholastica's Acadamy Marikina City. She has joined many small productions during her junior year and played many roles in them. She is now in her senior year and is part of the Arts & Design Track in SSAM, joining their organization, ADYA. Dom has taken on many roles in this organization such as being the stage manager of the META-Unfolds event, a layout artist for the Odyssey event, and an actor for the production “Barya Lang Po sa Umaga'' playing the role “Prexy.” Domenique is now taking part in “Balantag”, where she participates in the theatre division’s “Tagu-taguan” as a layout artist and actor playing “Soledad.”
